Ikon designs and develops digital and multimedia solutions for museums, public institutions and businesses. We are looking for a systems administrator to independently manage our company IT infrastructure and the services we run for our clients, both in the cloud and at their premises.

What you'll do

• Managing the company network: firewalls, VLANs, site-to-site and remote-access VPNs, switches, and failover connectivity across two internet lines.
• Administering Windows and Linux servers, both physical and virtual (Proxmox).
• Managing Active Directory, DNS and DHCP, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID: users, licences and synchronisation.
• Handling storage and backup: Synology NAS, snapshots, cloud and tape backups, and regular restore testing.
• Managing client servers hosted in the cloud (OVH, Azure and other providers): updates, IIS, SSL certificates and SQL Server database backups.
• Monitoring services and handling incidents, in coordination with the development team.
• Keeping technical documentation and operating procedures up to date.

Requirements

• At least [3] years of experience as a systems administrator.
• Windows Server and Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, GPO).
• Linux, preferably Debian: command-line administration, services and updates.
• Networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls and VPNs (IPsec, OpenVPN).
• Virtualisation (Proxmox, VMware or Hyper-V).
• Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Entra ID.
• SQL Server: basic administration, backup and restore.
• Ability to manage your own priorities and a habit of documenting your work.

• pfSense / OPNsense.
• Proxmox VE and ZFS.
• Synology DSM.
• Microsoft Azure (App Service, Application Gateway, Azure SQL, Storage).
• IIS and SSL certificate management.
• Linux mail servers (Postfix, rspamd) and DNS (BIND).
• Monitoring tools (Nagios, Icinga, Zabbix).
• PowerShell and Bash scripting.
• Microsoft, Linux or networking certifications.
