A preview of the new Isonzo XR app

Today, at the Alberoni Nature Reserve, IKON presented to the press its new digital experience: Isonzo XR, a mobile app designed and developed in collaboration with LAND, follows the natural course of the Isonzo River through a series of six cycling and walking routes with a strong experiential and immersive focus.

Developed within CariGO GREEN³, the open-air laboratory on sustainable development promoted by Fondazione Carigo and Intesa Sanpaolo, the project is built on three key pillars: landscape enhancement, historical memory preservation, and technological innovation.

It offers a new way to explore the territory through digital storytelling: soundscapes, interactive maps, gamification, virtual and augmented reality come together to create six geo-referenced narrative paths, inspired by the history, traditions, and natural heritage of the region.

The app, available for Android and iOS, will be released in app stores by the end of September 2020.
